Sir Topham Hatt tells the engines about a monster causing atmospheric disturbances, made form Thomas's polarizer. Sir Topham Hatt informs the engines that if the monster isn't stopped, the world and Rosie's scout troop could be lost forever. Oliver says he'll stop Arry/Bert and some trucks to save Rosie's scout troop but Thomas (who loves one of the troop leaders) wants to do it.
