Clarissas Pov. I turned my head away trying to ignore what he just said. i could feel my eyes filling up with tears but i forced them down not wanting to embarress myself. "Clarissa Im sorry..." he said stroking my hair. "Its fine.." i dident even bother to turn back around. "i dont know why your mad...I mean we just met... and its not like i led you on or anything." i tried to hold in laughter.. of course he led me on does he not realize that. "i said its fine joe!!" i snatched my head around and saw joe heat up... Joes POV. I felt bad.. more like horrible. But i was dating Demi...and demi was an amazing girl i couldent just let her go.... "listen clarissa lets just be friends like i said." "whatever" she got up and ran towards the door throwing my tshirt off. "take it!" i gapsed staring at her boney body... "come here" i sturggled to get the words out of my mouth. " im not done talking to you." "well im done talking to you joe! Why couldent you have just left me on the streets dying of starvation would have been better than dying of a broken heart." "will you stop being so dramatic! We just met, i dont love you get over it!: i admittely regreted my choice of words.i but my tounge and rushed to clarissa pulling her next to me. "i dident mean it like that.. its just..." "so why did you even take me huh joe ?!" "because im a nice guy.. and you were just so... amazing." "We just met how could think of me as amazing" she said in a mocking tone. "im trying to be nice!" "yeah i thought that too.. untill you led me on like crazy." i saw her dark brown eyes fill up with tears, she tried to hold them back but burst and rested her head on my shoulder. "im sorry joe...its just that everyone leads me on and leaves me i thought you were different." her words tugged on my heart strings like a football player playing a game of tug of war. "Shhh." i said wiping the tears from the bottom of her eyes. " i am different." "promise" she said holding out her bruised pinky. "i promise" she slid my shirt back on and smiled. NO POV. "So friends?" Clarissa asked. "nope..."
