Chapter 2 Kevin: Can Zoe Myers come on stage for a moment please? Backstage Zoe, Demi, and Selena were watching the tv when he said that. Selena: Zoe! Go out there! Zoe: What? Huh? Was that real? Demi: * laughs * go! Zoe goes up on stage. Kevin: There she is! Isn't she beautiful? Zoe: *blushes big time* Kevin: I have something to ask you. Joe and Nick are watching them. The band is playing some sweet romantic music. Kevin gets down on one knee. Zoe is standing there in shock. *all the girls in the crowd are screaming at the top of their lungs* Kevin: Zoe, these past two years have been the most amazing years of my life. Not because of the the money and the television interviews and all the perks of being famous. Its because of you. You have been there for me through the past few years. So....will you Zoe Myers...be my wife? Joe and Nick are mouthing the words YES, YES, YES The crowd starts yelling. YES YES YES! Zoe: Of course I will! Crowd screams, and Kevin kisses her. She is crying a lot. (tears of joy) Joe:AWW!!! We are gonna play one last song for you guys then we're gonna let these love birds celebrate. Zoe runs backstage. Demi and Selena meet her in the lobby. They all scream!! Demi: CONGRADULATIONS!! I wish I could celebrate with you longer but I have to go sing This Is Me. Zoe: No big deal. See you afterwards. Demi comes out and starts coming down the steps singing. Her high heel gets caught and she falls. Joe: Demi! *runs towards her* Are you ok? Demi: *holding her head* yeah, i think so. Joe: *helps her up* says quietly so the audience can't hear. Do you think you can finish the song? Demi:Yeah, I think so? Lets go of her head. Joe sees her hand. Joe: You're bleeding! Demi: Its fine. Joe: no, wait. *Grabs the mic* We are so sorry but Demi is not going to be able to finish her song. I hope everyone had a great time and have a safe trip home. Thanks you! They go back stage. Selena: Demi are you ok!?!?! Demi: Yeah. Umm...how bad is my head? Joe: Let me see. Oh my gosh! I'll take you to the doctor. Demi: No really I'm fine I just need something to stop the bleeding. *starts to get up but falls. Joe catches her luckily* Joe: Woah, Dem you need to lie down. Demi: Joe, I don't feel so good. Nick: You look really pale. Selena: You might want to get that checked out seriously. Demi: Ok fine lets go. *starts to get up* Joe: No, I'll carry you. Demi: I am fully capable of walking by myself. *gets up and falls* Joe: Uh huh...sure you are. *picks her up* Later that night. Kevin: Are you feeling any better? Demi: Yeah, my head still hurts a little but what can you expect I did almost crack my skull. Zoe: I feel really bad that you can't come to the engagement party tonight. Are you sure you don't want us to cancel? Demi: NO, have fun! Its your night. Kevin: but it won't be as fun without you. Selena walks in. Selena: What won't be fun? Zoe: If Demi isn't at the party tonight. Selena: Yeah Sel, you need to come with us. If you can't tonight then I am sure we could do it another time. Demi: Seriously, I need time to rest anyway. Go! Have a fun time! Selena: Ok, love you! Demi: *lughs* Love you too! Demi, Selena, Zoe, and Kevin go to the car. Joe comes in. Joe: Hey I hate that you can't come. It doesn't feel right without you. Demi: I wish I could, but I'll be fine. Joe: I have a weird feeling about this. Like somethings gonna happen while we're gone. Nick walks in. Nick: Joe? Joe: yeah? Nick: Oh, well, its nothing, nevermind. Joe: What is it? Nick: I went outside earlier to get something out of the car and I felt like someone was hiding in the bushes. Demi: Are you serious? Nick: I was probably just freaking myself out. Joe: I don't want to leave you alone. Demi: I'm fine! Go! Are Joe and Nick right? Is someone watching them? Will something happen to Demi?
