Experience the site, sounds and words of South Africa. This is one part of many about my trip to South Africa. While in South Africa, there were other African Americans there to attend the T.D. Jakes Megafest. What you are going to see is the area of the city where whites once lived but fled after blacks moved into the area. You are also going to see the area where many of the whites fled to, living behind high walls with barbed wire or electrified wiring surrounded gated communities. Yes, it has changed drastically since the time of Apartheid but just as is the case in America, vestigages of racial hatred is yet present.
