A vote for McCain = a vote for neocon foreign policy.

Back

Everybody knows John McCain is off his rocker these days (particularly since his campaign became actively racist!), but did you know that his neocon foreign policy advisers are crazy too? The same men who planned, executed and propagandized and lied to the American people to wage preemptive war against Iraq. This group of neoconservatives created a think tank called Project for a New American Century, which received millions and millions of dollars from wealthy corporate interests, including the Exelon oil company. PNAC was founded by William Kristol and Robert Kagan, the latter of whom is among John McCain's chief foreign policy advisers. Randy Scheunemann was another of PNAC's inner circle, and he is McCain's top foreign policy adviser, and is even more militarist than his companions. Other neoconservatives associated with PNAC include: Richard Perle, Mark Gerson, Thomas Donnelly, Ellen Bark, Gary Schmitt, William J. Bennett, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, "Scooter" Libby, Norman Podhoretz, Paul Wolfowitz, and R. James Woolsey. These and other men and women devised the invasion during the Clinton administration, during which they were ultimately ignored. After Sept. 11th, they jumped at their chance to shoehorn Iraq into George W. Bush's "anti-terror" agenda. That was easy to do, because VP Dick Cheney has long been among the most powerful neoconservatives, and Bush had handed over ALL power over foreign policy to Cheney -- a job for which no one had at any time elected Cheney. Neocons inside government coordinated their propaganda with neocon "talking heads," including Joshua Muravchik, Richard Perle, James Woolsey, and especially William Kristol. After horribly screwing up the Iraq War, the deaths of thousands of American soldiers and countless thousands of Iraqi civilians, spending extensively to hire mercenaries to do some of soldiers' work, destroying the goodwill the USA had garnered internationally in the wake of the horrific attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and plunging our economy into enormous deficits, these same neocons are eager to take preemptive military action against Iran. The New Yorker's Seymour Hersh reports that the USA already has planted innumerable spies in Iran and paid off local terrorist groups to agitate against Iran's government. As early as 2006, some neoconservatives were already clamoring for immediate invasion. Iran's government is unquestionable corrupt and dangerous. But do we want hothead John McCain to be the one in charge of dealing with Iran? And, we must ask the same question when it comes to Russia. Our country is bankrupt many times over, morale is low, people are dissatisfied and fed up. We CANNOT TRUST THESE MANIAC GOP LIARS to run our country in a responsible way. VOTE AGAINST A THIRD G.W. BUSH TERM! VOTE AGAINST THE MCCAIN/PALIN MENACE, and their fanatical neocon cronies!
