Another LTTE supply route captured The Security Forces have taken control of another supply route of the LTTE terrorists. The 15th Sinha Regiment of the 223rd Brigade Headquarters succeeded in taking control of more than half of the supply route from Otiyamale to Ranabahupura. Our Special Representative Sujith Kumara reporting from the battlefront said, the gallant soldiers had succeeded in paralysing another supply route of the LTTE. They have taken control part of the supply route from Ranabahupura to Kotiyamale. Troops of the 15th Sinha Regiment achieved this victory. They are supporting operations of the 59th Division. The junction leading to Thannimurukku and Nedunkerni is located on this route. It was through this path that the LTTE supply network to Monarawewa and Gajabapura was operating. The terrorists before fleeing had mined the area which was captured by the war heroes after heavy fighting. The 59th Division had breached the defence bund of the terrorists at several places. It was put up by the LTTE to prevent the troops advancing towards Mullaitivu. Our representative said the 57th Division is now engaged in operations only two kilometres away from Kilinochchi.
