The Land of Lakes Choirboys' training program is like no other. It is a unique way to enrich a boy's life -- a program where body, mind, soul and heart come together. Boys receive a musical education which is the envy of their peers. They are introduced to the great works of musical geniuses like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Vivaldi. Boys learn to sing melodic lines in perfect tune. They are also schooled in the art of harmonizing, note reading, phrasing, dynamics and rhythmic patterns. Choristers are trained to perform complicated musical works with sensitivity and artistry. Winner of the 2005 Royal Caribbean Grand Champion in male voice category and of the 2004 International Trebby Award for "Best Boys' Choir Album" with its CD "Steal Away", the Land of Lakes Choirboys has stunned audiences all over the world with its superb singing. Since its humble beginnings in 1976, when 18 Elk River boys gathered together for their first choir practice under the directorship of Craig Carmody Anderson, the Choir has grown to an organization of over 130 boys making up six different choirs. 1- 'How can I keep from singing', R.
